i like that too!! and seriously..you can't beat Winking Owl from Aldi $2.99 a bottle!!! Booty - yes Winking Owl is decent and something I buy from time to time. Its actually produced for Aldi by E & J Gallo Winery (Modesto, CA). I would recommend trying the Banrock Station wines above or if you go to Ray's they have another inexpensive wine for the same price tag - Crane Lake.

You didn't read below that: In some U.S. states, such as Minnesota and Utah, some Boone's Farm products are labeled as malt beverages and not as flavored apple/citrus wine products Its a Low-end fortified wine by product but should be classified as a malt beverage seeing thats what it is by definition.

Another cheaper wine is Barefoot's line, normally around $3.99-4.99 a bottler (at most every store). You know - you can just make your own wine like me and it only ends up costing about $1-2 per bottle after everything is said and done

Fawk no - I'll take wine over spirits/beer any day as a daily drinker (yes >wino) I cook every day and I like a wine with my food - 1,000 times better for you than drinking soda with your meals. I like whites and reds equally however we are in a house where we have a non-white wine fan so I must settle for red 99% of the time when at home (unless guests are over).

Remember the "2 buck chuck" can only be called that in California where it sells for $1.99. Everywhere else it sells for $2.99 or $3.99 depending on the location. Its actually branded as Charles Shaw wine which is produced by the Bronco Wine Company in Ceres, California. Most of their varietals are .... ok, never have been wooed by any of them to be honest tho.

Booty... stick w/ Penfold's. I've never had a bad wine from them.
RE: mixes - there are some really great meritages out there. Again, it's just about what you like, not about what anyone else says that you should like.

Croat... depends on what you buy.
Penfolds makes a ton of different wines from less than $10 bottles to 100 pointers that cost a couple hundred bucks a bottle.

Looking online for the most relevant products listed under that brand and most everything is under $10.00 and out of those a good chunk are around the $5 mark.

Check out Penfolds "Grange". My brother brought a 1999 Grange to dinner when I visited him in Florida last summer. Now THAT's good stuff.

i like how a few post up joey admits drinking as frequently as me.
ive had quite a few really good wines lately. When i was in atlantic city last week all the restraunts in the casinos had half off bottle nights on rotating nights, so i was able to try a lot of pricier ones i usually wouldnt select. If i would have been smart, i should have written down the ones i really liked.
